One of best To Kalons I have had...bravo to the entire Janzen team. Dense ripe black and red fruits with a bit of smoke and spice and long polished finished. Getting better every 20min. Crushed it w some bone and the KC strip!

Decant for sediment(some fine/cloudy sediment). A sublime dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: dark plum, mint, licorice, smoked meat, floral, wet cedar. Taste: smooth, creamy wine with subtle blackberry/plum, cedar, pepper, graphite, and a dark bitter chocolate dry medium plus finish. Drink em if you got em, fruit is fading....nice price for a Beckstoffer To Kalon.

Jul 2nd, 2016Holy sh*% is this good. Super complex nose of light and dark berries, cigar box, and dust. Changes every time I smell it. Big everything (fruit, tannin), high viscosity mouthfeel, 60 second finish. I can't stop sipping it.
