St Aubin can be hit and miss. This is hit. The richness of this Aoc is tempered by the janotsbos mineral and acidic style.

Nose is densely mineral. Like dark stones if that makes sense. Some citrus oil. Very very nice.

Palate has that st Aubin richness. Dense. But balanced by dense minerality. Juicy. Long. Very good deliciousness. Amazing balanced juicy fruit. Blood orange peel. Minerals are more stream bed round stones. I’d make a haiku about them but I’ve had too much wine.

Very good 1er cru. Lacks elite complexity to be better than that but a spectacular drink. Other than jj morel in a good year (which is black magic good) best st Aubin I’ve had.
