Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Nice length on the finish with firm tannins and tangy raspberries.
Would benefit from another few years in the bottle. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (1 hour).
Barrel fermented and Barrel aged.
A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petite Sirah. Aged for 17 months in 40% new French oak barrels.

It's a '16 and I am just underwhelmed by this winery and wine. Even decanting a few hours does not big it any more depth or punch.

Apr 4th, 2020Good wine, but not worth the price. Perhaps needs longer in the bottle or better vintages out there. O was expecting more punch and body, more fruit. A lighter Cab for the tag.
