A wine that devoured air. With each breath this wine grew more approachable. Packed with structure. Pure dark fruit , juicy acidity and polished tannins.

Violets and black pepper. Austere purple fruit, shows large at low abv. Would call Syrah blind

Medium purple; medium intensity aromas of blackberry, cassis, red currant, red plum, tobacco, violets, earth, funky mineral; dry, medium acid, medium plus tannins, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium intensity flavors of blackberry, black plum, black and red currant, tobacco, chaperral; medium plus finish, concentrated and complex, very interesting

Once again confirming that this is one of my favourite reds ever. Austere purple fruit, but theres a definite ethereal quality to this wine. Crunchy autumn leaves, pink peppercorn, tobacco. This wine is pretty. Rivals anything from the Savoie. *mic drop*

Unusual grape... dark, inky, light to medium weight, but displaying both angular acidity and sharp gripping tannins. Subtle dark fruit hiding under the tannins. Definitely a “food” wine. Think this one needs a bit of time, but glad to have a few to follow over time.

You literally can't go wrong with any of Jaimee's products.
Decant this Mondeuse and be prepared to be amazed!
Dark berries, black cherries, forest floor, tree bark, wild flowers. Super expressive, intoxicating nose.
Jaimee's work with this Savoie varietal is truly spectacular. Enjoy!

More structure than expected. Minty! Like fernet. Needs a few years to chill.

Huh, so all the Jaimee Motley wines are just delicious. Need to get some more. Fresh, a bit of cola sparkle and great black fruit.
