Another NYE magnum, to kickoff 2022 & begin dryuary. I’ll spend the next month scrubbing my purple teeth from this grapey beast. :)
Dry cork, but decanted & delicious. It is interesting that many of my 15+ yr corks crumble, yet the wine is fine 90% of cases)?

Nice dark color and nose. Full body, dry, balanced. Lots of plum and blackberries on palate. Perfect for relaxing at the hotel on a cold snowy night.

Xmas wine. En Magnum. I don’t buy much Jaffurs these days, but always enjoy an older bottle like this. Craig has cool-climate Syrah wired.
