Really a superb bottle with lots of dark fruit and a long finish. Well balanced with mellowing of tannins and still with some nice acidity. Love Jaffurs Bien Nacido.

Big. Still young. Needed hours in the decanter, but then was very pretty sbc Syrah. Needs food.

Amplified and reduced all at once. Plenty swirling revealed a complex and thoughtful wine of big proportions. Lay it down for a rack of lamb 5 years down the road.

The 2012 is drinking so so we’ll right now. Leather and earth mixed with rich red fruit. Round finish with plenty of structure. Paired with steak and roasted veg.
