Tart red fruit. Bright floral bouquet. Medicinal herb. Stiff acid. Tight structure yet incredible length. This was opened too soon and not fully explored, however rewarding all the same. Benchmark.

Beeswax on the nose. A similarly neutral entry. Fruit is full and ripe, zero ("0") tannins, acid is likewise wanting. Pleasant but leaves no impression. The shadow of a great wine, or maybe I just don't "get" hipster Jura? ETA: REVISED UP: after reflection aided by similarly-neutral pasta with buffalo butter, the delicious fruit does come to the fore. Quelle horreur- am I at the end just an over-extracted American oak-aholic? I probably still don't get this wine.
