A nice, balanced champagne. Drank with scalloped potatoes and ham & light salad.

While I'm not completely blown away, I'm definitely enjoying this champagne. For a brut, there's a lot of herbal fruit which isn't abnormal, but certainly unexpected in some thing I expected to be more structure-forward. Add the trademark yeasty funk and this is an easy-going bubbly.

The wine maker is a cool dude who says the vines have been in his family pre-French Revolution. Tastey, lively w a clean finish. Nice work New France distributors for finding this gem.
