The only pinot I’ve ever had from Paso Robles, Jack Creek culled out a vineyard in the Templeton Gap that brings in enough cool air at night to make pinot work in a place you’d otherwise would never think should produce pinot. This one has some age on it but is still drinking really well (as opposed to the regular bottling which has lost a fair bit of steam).

Jun 7th, 2021From one of the only pinot producers in Paso Robles, the 2012 reserve is a very good wine. Could probably use another couple of years in the cellar, but drinks very well after ~30 minutes in the glass. Nice!
