Very approachable though a little one dimensional despite the quintet of terroirs from which the grapes are sourced. Light bodied. All this aside, it is a perfectly tasty wine to share with a group of friends in a casual setting.

Opened to selebrate the Global Champagne Day. 100% Chardonnay from Vertus, Epernay, Pierry, Dizy, Mardeuil thus the name Quintette. Made from with vines ranging 36 to 71 years. 2016 vintage with 20% vin de Solera. Discorged Feb/2020 with 2g/l dosage. This is BdB with quite some substance, richness and energy. Both the nose and palate greets with toasty/brioche notes complemeted by mineral and flowery cents. Initially bit tightly wound but when you let it open it turns to beautiful and highly enjoyable BdB Champagne
