I don't think the vintage matters. This stuff is my favorite.

Tonight I went out and bought this wine at the request of a friend. I figured that what the heck, let's give it a go. I found it at a local grocery store for $14.99. I am keeping an open mind and will honestly try this Cabernet Sauvignon. I have found many nice wine at this price point so hopefully this won't disappoint. The nose is a little weak but I get black currant, stewed raisins, blackberry and some black pepper. On the first taste I get a watery mouth feel with blackberry, sweet plum, and cooking spice. I do get some oak and sandy tannins. All in all not to bad for the price point, something I would find at a wedding or a bar well wine. Sorry Jeff, I hope I didn't let you down too much.

I don't think this is that bad, in fact not bad at all. One said it was a "Thursday drinking wine". Definite jamminess and lasting mouth feel. It's smooth for a cab, which is a good thing.

One of my go-tos for a cheap bottle. Very fruit forward and easy drinking, but still enough body to let you know it's there. Not a great food cab, but good enough to sit and drink on the couch.

A wine that has a delightful fruitful flavor with a slight bouquet of vanilla. Great with steak or pork chop!

Definitely a cab on the nose. Some spicy cherry- or cooked cherriesay be a better description but not sweet like pie filling.
