Let you in on a little secret (now that it’s too late). This Cuvee’ is the best growers champagne you’ll find for about $35 when it goes on sale once a year at Whole Foods. Unfortunately I heard 2020 was the last year they’d be allocated their private label.
Pours a glint of rose fold. Light aromatics - white flowers and white cherries and lemon. Concentrated mouth - structure, rich, complete with strawberry, raspberry, bing cherry.

Jan 1st, 2021This is a sku made just for Whole Foods. Though it doesn’t specify, I’m nearly certain it’s their Cuvée Preference with a custom sticker. Equally good and severely underpriced on sale- $29 for Premiere Cru growers Champagne. Kermit Lynch import.
Pale rose gold with a greenish tint. Ubiquitous. Autolytic, red fruits, citrus, orchard fruits, plenty of minerals. Lemon, crusty bread, chalky limestone, and fresh red cherries. Stylish. Bold. Elegant.
Keep your eye out for the next sale.

Not too bubbly, not too sweet, not too dry. Christmas Eve dinner accompaniment = satisfied . Easy to drink.
