Deliciousness and perfect pairing for a cold winter night. Can't wait to see it on day two.

Life's hidden gems. Syrah and Babbalooey. We had about 50 kids for Halloween. He was the star. What does that have to do with this wine. Nothing

Savory, roasted notes with aromas of oil-cured black olives, garrigue, baking spices, and the ripest black raspberries. Fresh and juicy on the palate. Purchased from Flatiron

So good. This taste like a quality Saint Joseph combined with a top notch sour beer. Snappy red and blue fruit, purple flowers, soil, cured meat, and botanicals. Crisp acidity, and easy but noticeable tannins. A cloudy ruby red/magenta in the glass. Delightfully funky and wild.

Big old farty nose of egg salad, raspberries, and sour beer. Funk city in all the best ways. Low tannin, high acid, and delicate. Not for everyone, but a unique experience.

This may have been a bad bottle as the wine didn’t have the usual pop or personality I’ve come to expect from this producer. Even so, it was a pretty good, more elegant Syrah.
