I love Nebbiolo and this version from Monferrato is worthy of your attention; showing rich cherry fruit paired with an intruiging almond character and dense tannins. Lofty acidity on the finish creates lightness despite obvious its mid-palate weight. Elegant. Adorable and sensual. Thru 2025.

Sep 24th, 20162001 vintage. The oak still add toast spice and roasted coffee notes to the cherries and cassis fruit. It's major advantage is on the elegant finish where all is subtle and fine-tuned minerals emerge. Lip smacking stuff.
