Good Pinot Gris in typical Oregon fashion. Light, crisp, fruit forward with stone fruit and lemon zest. Nice find. Hadn’t had this vineyard before. Located in Cottage Grove, Oregon (near Eugene), fruit sources from Chalice Estate and Confluence Vineyards. Dijon clones. 4500 cases produced. The 2016 vintage yielded a 91 score from Wine Enthusiast and an Editor’s Choice for wine. No doubt the 2017 will as well. Seek this one out to try. It’s amazing QPR, winery retail is $16. I picked it up for less at a Portland wine shop.
