Almost 13 years in and drinking so well. One of my favorite small producers from OR and still reasonably priced!

A personal favorite producer of mine from OR. Very small lots - hence the name. Ages well, this is the 2011 vintage. Hard to find this level of quality at the price point. I think I paid $45, they usually have a Berzerker Day deal (if you don’t know what that is, Google it, and thank me later lol).

Getting more of this - such a great example of OR Pinot.

Fresh, pretty red fruit belies its 10 years of age. Very impressed with my first Iota Pinot...name (presumably) comes from micro lot production - can’t wait to try the others in the lineup.

Lean and mean with pretty fruit and earthiness. Paired well with seared double pork chop at Tina’s in Dundee

Purple red in color. Red fruit, clove notes in nose. Cranberry cherry strawberry and black currant notes in mouth. Some seed tannin bitterness, ever so slightly tart, no astringency. Time to drink this one

Dense purple red in color. Leather, briar and vegetal notes in nose. Blueberry water, fruit leather and cola notes in mouth and raspberry and cranberry with length in finish. Some bitterness with mouth-coating astringency on front half of tongue. Needs time to open, still has aging potential
