So. Much. Fruit! Bright cherries, ripe blueberries, slightly tart currants ... an amazing effort, outdoing the superlative 2013 vinyl rage. Even more excellent is the fact that this wine is quite young - lay it down for two years and impress your friends.

Paired exceptionally well with Goat cheese selection and charcuterie. Benefited from Vinturi aeration. Nicely balanced. I noticed no off-putting smell as other reviewer.

2014 vintage - extremely young Merlot with sweet cherry and nice tannin structure. However, there is a very off-putting 'barrel' taste to this wine. It smells, and tastes, like a empty wine barrel you buy at Home Depot (or similar store). Don't believe the hype from Mr. Weil. He's paid - or should be -by Naked Wines, the distributor of this wine.

This wine is ok but not great kind of like shooting a smooth .22 caliber rifle when you were expecting a .308. Still, we enjoyed it and would probably drink it again.
