So. Much. Fruit! Bright cherries, ripe blueberries, slightly tart currants ... an amazing effort, outdoing the superlative 2013 vinyl rage. Even more excellent is the fact that this wine is quite young - lay it down for two years and impress your friends.

Tastes more like a blend, which I take to be a good thing.

Paired exceptionally well with Goat cheese selection and charcuterie. Benefited from Vinturi aeration. Nicely balanced. I noticed no off-putting smell as other reviewer.

2014 vintage - extremely young Merlot with sweet cherry and nice tannin structure. However, there is a very off-putting 'barrel' taste to this wine. It smells, and tastes, like a empty wine barrel you buy at Home Depot (or similar store). Don't believe the hype from Mr. Weil. He's paid - or should be -by Naked Wines, the distributor of this wine.

A little fruity / jammy for any Merlot. Dry at the end.

Strong alcohol content. Bitter, dry after taste. Enjoyed the feeling (buzz), but not the process (taste). Perhaps we should try it next time with food instead of by itself.

This wine is ok but not great kind of like shooting a smooth .22 caliber rifle when you were expecting a .308. Still, we enjoyed it and would probably drink it again.
