A nice spicy Cabernet/ Shiraz blend from Australia. Drinking very nicely now, as a three-year-old. Much better than last year.

Showing black fruits, spices, peppercorn, chocolates, oak and licorice.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up.

Nice length on the finish with soft tannins and raspberries.

15% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

A blend of 75% Shiraz and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Big aromas of red fruits with notes of sweet spice. On the palate blackberry and plum, a little towards the jammy side, with notes of cacao and herb spice. Bold rich tannins, medium length ending with berry and spicy finish. Ok value!

Dark ruby in color with a wide purplish rim.

Great fruity nose with black currants, blackberries, tart cherries, vanilla, wood, spices, chocolates, green herbs, earth, light alcohol, cloves, vegetables, green pepper, wet leaves, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and nice long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, currants, vanilla, cloves, licorice, tobacco, vegetables, spices, chocolates, earth, dark coffee, bitter herbs, pencil lead and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This Cabernet Shiraz Blend is starting to drink nicely now. I had it almost a year ago and it was not as good as it is now. Well balanced with a great mouthfeel and a tangy ending.

Good by itself or with food, and needs 2 hours to open up properly.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of cheeses and Meats.

Deep purple in color with a short purplish rim.

Nose of cherries, plums, blueberries, pomegranates, chocolates, raspberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices, smoke, mocha and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, cranberries, earth, chocolates, wood, licorice, spices, tobacco, green vegetables, herbs, spices and black pepper.

Tart finish with firm tannins and sour raspberries.

This Australian Cabernet - Shiraz blend is spicy and not fully balanced yet. Enjoyable with food.

Better now than last year that I had it, but still young. Last year, the flavors were all separated, and now they are put together nicely.
Needs an additional year in the bottle to mature property.

I paired it with hard cheeses and light appetizers.

Say hello to my first 2015 Red.
(It is a year old, since it is Australian, but still... )

Deep purple, almost inky in color with a thin purplish rim.

Full-bodied and bold, Jammy and thick, with high acidity and gorgeous legs.

Sour and fruity on the nose, and still a bit closed, with blackberries, plums, black currants, figs, Oak, vanilla, licorice, tart cherries, spices and peppercorn.

Dry and tart on the attack, and fruity on the mid palate, with dark berries, unripe cherries, strawberries, blueberries, plums, licorice, light vanilla, light oak, pencil lead, spices and black pepper.

Medium Plus on the finish, and very metallic with tart cherries and soft tannins.

Still a very young blend, but drinkable now, though a little harsh and very unbalanced. Seems like the flavors are not integrated at all. A couple of years in the bottle should take care of that. Better after 3 hours of decanting, but still not there...

2015 vintage dry with a bit of fruitiness. It’s an okay wine. Got it at a fantastic price.

Very dry with very little fruit would not be one of our favorites.
