2016 opened Oct 2021. Roses on the nose. Light tannic structure. Blackberries on the front with a some mineral high notes on the mid palate that turn slightly bitter on the finish. Not much happening on the end to balance that bitterness. Kind of watery. Douro fans will probably find this too milquetoast for their tastes. And to my palate it’s inoffensive but not very interesting.
