Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

Medium ruby, bright stemmy pronounced aromas of red plum, violet, forest floor, coffee, hint of clove and oak influence. Dry, medium+ acidity, medium abv, medium body, medium(-) tannin; herbal notes, black tea, red plum, black cherry. A bit out of balance, will drink well for another year or two but will not improve with further aging.

Simple wine with aromas of red berry fruits and some baking spice notes. On the palate blueberry and dried cherry flavors with herb-like spices and citrus notes. Fine tannins, medium finish with vivid acidity ending with fruit character. Tasting Sample.

Was expecting more freshness and balance from Yarra Valley. I got overripe fruit. Mehhh.

Didn't love it, dark berry fruits, belies its 16 label with some colour age. Once the sulphur blew off it opened up a little more.

Innocent Bystander. Not easy to find affordable Yarra Valley PN, but this is a safe bet

Packed full of vibrant red fruits with medium acidity and fine tannins. One dimensional. Good enough but I'm looking for more...

I didn't like it- a bit tannon-y, very dry. Andy liked it

Nice notes, more stone fruit and heavier berry.

Nice albeit a bit bland. Lingering aftertaste.
Maybe buy again?
