Reserve Cask Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Went bad fast.

Like watching one of those hospital dramas on TV where the patients EKG keeps beeping slower and slower.

Solid, earthy on the palate. Nice funckiness on the nose. Great buy and great value here!

Completely Old World if you are not aware of what old California Cabs can become, decanted for over 2 hours felt a little oxidized at first but slowly let the fruit through, will make you feel like you are drinking an old tempranillo.

Past its prime. Still fun to drink a piece of history

This is a 3L of Inglenook Cask Cabernet. Still in my cellar. I took the photo in response to a post about "first Cask release since early 60s". Still in my cellar waiting for right opportunity.

Whoever said that a new Inglenook Cadk wine is first since the 1960s doesn't know what talking about.
