Clean, cherry red color. Liquorice, aged fruit, raspberry, strawberry, hints of pepper on a very interesting nose. Long persistence, not an average zinfandel, probably not ready since it is not rounded on mouth.

May 15th, 2016Menthol, licorice, vanilla, cloves, hoisin sauce, herbs, spices, and packed with jammy cherries. A bit over oaked - I’m not normally a Zin fan, but this retains an Italian like freshness to it despite the aggressive oak. There’s a lot of complexity here as well.
