Black Cherry, over ripe big lush strawberry, hint of cranberry, spice, forest floor and a hint of game. Day 1 was also showing blueberry and chocolate. Actually aside from the day 1 characteristics this wine reminds me a lot of a lower end OR Pinot Noir.

This is pedestrian CA Cab. Not the worst in the bunch, but not the best either. Smells like vanilla, berry sauce. Taste is about the same. It’s in the style that sells, but it really offers little to enjoy.

They have had a better year since 2013. More balanced, rounded flavor. Quite a nice little surprise.
