Crisp, lemon peel, light, porch pounder. They look like flies, but those are the Blue Angels in the background. Baltimore fleet week!

Musty nose, but surprisingly soft and light. Light citrus. Pleasant porch sipper.

Pears and yellow apple. Some honey and hazelnut as well. Beautifully balanced!

Sep 23rd, 2017Really enjoyed this modestly dry and well balanced Stellenbosch (So. Africa) Chenin Blanc on a leisurely Sunday afternoon. Nose of pear, apple and floral origin; oak and acidity was a bit heavy at first sip, but mellowed to a pleasant mineral backdrop over the hour of consumption.
