Never thought I'd meet a Carmenere I liked, but Italian Carmenere is a different animal. Kind of in love with this.

This a big dark cassis wine. Blackberries lead the fruit. The fruit is big smooth and ripe and the color dark ruby. There's dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla and light spice. Nice wine especially made from 100% Carmenere which is tricky to make soft at a young age.

Fruity and peppery, but doesn’t taste like the two are melding/blending. Feel it needs richness.
