Starts tight but opens nicely to show good fruit complexity. Not too much tannin or darkness or spice, but quite mellow and smooth.

2011 so I was a little skeptical, but from stags leap and a stones throw from The Shafer property. Tasted the deep, ripe berry on the nose followed by a complex mix flavors on the palate--rich and smooth. The finish was excellent and surprisingly long. 9.4 for me helped that it allegedly was secured for under $60. Won't disappoint if you can find. Delectable was out!

Nice nose of blackberry and boysenberry. Excessive sweetness, cloying.

A pretty great cab. Still tasted young and vibrate with a purple color and ripe fruit, but plenty of structure to balance things out (including tannins which needed a bit of air). Definitely has life left but in a good drinking place now.

Wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be.

Butternut squash ravioli in the background and an Ilsley cab as the headline. Both were delicious!

2008 Vintage - Not as complex as the 06 vintage but deliciously juicy! So much fruit.
