Revisiting vintage. So much fresh peach and apricot flavor with length! Impressive varietal expression from grapes in the cool van Duzer Corridor where their estate is located, though not all the grapes come from that AVA. Still, one of the best American Grüners I’ve tasted. Delightfully dry, mild white pepper finish.

Not much aroma on this one. Lime and tropical flavors, good acidity. Fermented in acacia barrels, and you can taste that. No guava or mango flavors in this vintage

Mango and lime flavors, mineral finish. Light acidity but it goes down all too easily. Light drinking but maybe not one to pair with food

First non-Austrian Grüner! Pretty impressed. This is a good case for the Willamette's suitability for this variety. As you'd expect a bit riper and weightier than a lot of Austrian examples, but definitely showing varietal typicity. Nose of ripe green apple, ripe honeydew melon, and grapefruit, wet stone minerality (that actually kinda reminds me of the granite beaches of the Finnish gulf coast and archipelago), celery, sugar snap peas, slight fennel seed note, and some leesy hard cheese rind action going on too. The palate echoes the nose pretty congruently, sitting on a taught frame of intense acidity. Medium (-) body with leesy, oily texture. I might be slightly biased since this wine kinda makes me nostalgic for Finland but it's pretty damn good. Would like to revisit in a few more years.

Some Underripe mango? Pretty interesting. First Oregon grüner I've had.

Clear pale yellow. Sulfur-mango, floral, stone fruit in nose. Mango, bitter lemon, stone fruit notes in mouth. Mango and slight astringency in finish.

Golden yellow in color. Guava note in nose. Stone fruit, guava and lime in mouth with minerality on finish. Mango and lactic aftertaste. Flavor profile slightly subdued in intensity vs. previous tastings.
