It is rather beguiling, and despite its bitter finish and tannic undergirding, reveals its charms easily. An opaque nebbiolo garnet colour. Immediate burst of citrus on the front palate. Nose of spices and leather. Bracing acidity, long tannic finish. Utterly fascinating.
