Nero Sardo Cannonau di Sardegna

This is a fantastic little gem from Sardinia. It's all about the funk. That barnyard funk. Very smooth mouthfeel with ripe red fruit. It has a fresh, natural taste to it with loads of herbs and spices. The finish is chalky and long. Cannonau is typically fuller-bodied and pairs well with red meats, this baby is no different. Open it, let it breathe, then gulp it down.
