I did not get the privilege of tasting the 2009 so cannot compare, but this was a delicately dry Tuscan blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot strong. Nice red fruit. Finishes well. Cleanses the palate without competing. It even handled blue cheese without losing any robustness.
