Bold, dry and totally badass. Had with brasato on cold winters day for Christmas dinner. ❤️ Had same bottle 2011 just before. Both super dry but really good with flavorful dinner.

I did not get the privilege of tasting the 2009 so cannot compare, but this was a delicately dry Tuscan blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot strong. Nice red fruit. Finishes well. Cleanses the palate without competing. It even handled blue cheese without losing any robustness.
