Clear, bright ruby. Slightest hint of brett, some earth and sous bois. Spice, and a bit too tart cherry on initial pour, but tartness subsided with air. Excellent on night two. Still pretty fresh at 16+ years. From Santa Barbara's Jim Clendenen.
