This was a bit of a surprise to me. This is apparently "your grandfather's Barbera", though I won't take the comment literally as my grandfather probably associated wine with Claret and that's that.

This is however old school in style. Herbaceous perhaps from the stems, dark, gamey. Definitely not for everyone but I really enjoyed it.
