Not showing as well aromatically as previous vintages, some of which have been my favorite rosés of all time. However, this has wild strawberries and sawdust on the nose and is chock full of acid and minerals per usual. Still a very good bottle of wine.

May 21st, 2021Wowow. Salmon-ruby colored, packed with red fruit, pink-green just ripe strawberries, wild berry, and zingy minerality and acid. But with a leesy, buttery quality reminiscent of great rosé champagne. Intoxicating combination, leading with the nose. Excellent texture and mouthfeel, and a long finish. Great stuff; some of the top rosé, anywhere.

Wow. Hello! Unbelievable complex flavors- beeswax, citrus, ethereal trace of Manzanilla Sherry. Lord what else? Oh yes, 4000 feet elevation, pre-phylloxera, limited sulphur. Crazy good! Nice pick Chris!

Rays of sunshine. Candle wax, strawberry hard candy. High- acidity, light body, finishes with a thin string of light berry sweetness. Top 2 rose, up there with Lopez which it shares a certain waxy quality.
