Great. Very unique. From Sardegna. Uses only Monica grapes, which I’ve never had. Nicely balanced but w robust rustic+fruit profile. Hard to explain. For $27, a reasonable value. Definitely buy again.

Garnet and transparent in color. On the nose leather, brick, pepper, cocoa, rosemary decomposed bramble and cherries. On the palate the wine is incredibly complex. You initially get the strawberries, dried cherry, but finishes with baking spice and pepper. Quite acidic with soft tannins it finishes like black tea. Somewhere inbetween a Sangiovese and nergoamaro, it's more accessible than a former but more complex than latter.
