Enz Vineyard Old Vine Mourvedre

Just gets better. Light to medium. Some grit. Some sweet tart. Yum.

nice wine. paired with burgers. bought to try a pure mourvedre, which is not as common to find.

This is revelatory. You get the deep blackberry, cassis, foresty notes of Mourvèdre but it's not overwrought at all. Even the tannins are silky. Some anise/tea leaf notes. Balance balance balance. Doesn't have the depth for me to really love it but this is just so good
