Beautiful yet edgy stuff here, didn't expect to be so thrilled by it. Polished plums with bloody butcher's block undertow. Acidity like perfectly executed guitar distortion. A big fan of de Villaine family Bouzeron when in Burgundy for precisely this type of acidity current. Strong memory of seeking the shade in bright sunlight as a child. Poetry huh -must be a good wine... Love the bottle shape between Burgundy and Bordeaux? 2009 vintage

You can't grow Merlot and Cab just anywhere in Carneros, but Mr. Hyde found the right terroir, and the results are glorious. I dare you not to like this.
