2023 vintage. Perfect Anderson Valley Pinot. Light ruby red, decent floral aroma once it opened up; vanilla, cherry, and a hint of spice on the nose and palate. Light to medium body in structure, very smooth finish. Enjoyed with an 8 oz filet. Not bad for under $35.

Cherry skin, spices, modestly oaky, very ripe top note, a little hot (13.8% abv) and you can smell it. Mellows by next day. Taste changes a lot in and out over 2 days, nicely. A very classic Anderson Valley profile: less jammy than Russian River peers, but less skunky and not as thin tasting as many OR or NZ pinots.
