Dalwood Vineyard, Block 8 only Chardonnay(no semillon in this wine)
This is the oldest continually operating vineyard established in Australia in 1828. Chardonnay behaves fantastic here.
It is barrel fermented and 20% of the mass is in new iak for 8-10 months( the rest old oak).
The wine is rich, dry, with lots of personality.
Quite buttery, an old style chardy.
Very long, this wine will always have its supporters and i can be one of them.
