Kayli Morgan Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

This is exactly in the drinking window. Decanted and needed about 40 minutes to get into 5th gear. The Cab had a mellow sweetness but long finish and plenty of roundness.

Underwhelmed. Expected a lot more. This was totally fine but it was well below what I assumed it would be. Not much to say about it which is my disappointment. Have other bottles to try in the future.

I may have built this wine up too much before opening... solid wine but not what I expected.

Lovely lingering and luscious. Packs a punch with dried fruit and long finish. It was just wonderful. Some muted spice but only to make the mouthfeel and finish complex. Still an impressively youthful wine for 21 years…

Holy shit. 13.9% for Hundred Acre in 2001 doesn’t make any sense but the taste/experience is outrageous. This is a mind blowing wine.

Smokey leathery and tar braised cherry dark chocolate long finish great nose of floral and earth
