Nice expression of this grape. Honey, orange and bright acidity. My wife rates the wine at 9.5. A bit high, but why argue.

Hmmmm, lovely nose of quince paste, dandelions, wet hay, and damsons; acidity pretty much dropped out and a hint of bitterness (due to oxidisation) at the end. Pretty much the same with all the dry old Gewurtzes - not a grape made for ageing...

2013 vintage.
May 30th, 2016Saldy over the hill. Well over. Nice golden colour and slightly muted nose of tropical fruits, butter, and hay, but sadly the acidity was gone and there was a hint of acrid bitterness running through the end palette. Oxidisation killed the cat. What a shame.

2012 vintage. Classic sweet lychee aromas, but shows a little more restraint and has a bit of minerality in there as well. On the palate, there is good spice. Interesting wine.
