Top Notes For
2010 Vintage. Riesling from Hugel. Apples and grapefruit on the nose, with hints of violet petals and honey suckle. There's a reductive character that is quite pleasant. On the palate, medium minus bodied, citrus high acidity, medium concentration and edging towards a long finish. Not huge complexity here - easy drinking wine. There's some residual sugar here, which might not please everyone. Serve at 9 degrees. NB: with an hour in the glass, mineral chalky notes to the fore, with a slight digestive biscuit note. Getting better!
