In some ways a "perfect" wine. Could see this develop into something very special.

Intense and meaty. Like a ribeye with herb rub. Nice pairing too.

Acceptable American Bordeaux but an actual Bordeaux at the same price would be better. Bold and slightly sweet, with an intensely alcoholic finish. Strong but charmless.

Lovely Cabernet Franc based blend. Had the 2013 vintage with a wealth of plum, a bouquet which filled the vicinity, notes of lipstick, black cherry and dark earth. Great, but a bit $ for me
