The 2nd wine in the Grand Cru White Burgundy lineup tasted blind. Amazingly no new wood although wood is noticeable (a caramel note) - only 1 Barrique is produced. Muted fruit on the palate with great acid. Lighter at this young age but with great energy and obviously a great future. Planted at the crazy density of 24,000 vines per hectare on a tiny plot of 0.05 hectare. That’s only 500 square meters or 10 metres x 50 metres. Only 3 bottles came to Australia!!
