Blueline Estate Malbec

This is a gorgeous 6 year old Malbec from Napa Valley.

Showing black fruits with earth, cedar, leather, chocolates, tobacco, licorice, vanilla, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.

Full bodied, bold, smooth and spicy. Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel.

This Single Vineyard is very fruity, especially on the nose. Interesting and tasty.

Good by itself or with food and good right out of the bottle.

Tasty and delicious. Definitely the best Malbec I've ever had from Napa Valley.

100% Malbec grapes were aged for 17 months in 100% new French oak barrels.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

This is the 2015 out of barrel. It's perhaps their best Malbec to date. The dark fruits were beautiful with dark & light chocolate and lots of savoy grilled meats at this stage. A big thank you to Marybeth for her wonderful hospitality. Enjoyable afternoon.

Blue blue blue and more blue....even the dark chocolate is dyed blue.

Dark currant, lots of fruit, a touch acidic and med weight. Delicious

The beat goes on! Beautiful juice.

Floral, herb and spice on the nose. Excellent flavors of dark cherries, blackberries, plum and pomegranate. Silky tannins and great acidity. Finish is lush and long. Hourglass knows how to make Great Malbec!

This Malbec gave aromas mostly from the added Petit Verdot. Disappointing to say the least.

Very similar to the merlot with hints of blueberry.
