Palest ruby ad smells like brown sugar, candied raspberries and herbs. Tasted of dried flowers, candied raspberries and interestingly, fresh licorice root. My second taste of this very special wine. Not at the heights of the first bottle but still excellent

The bouquet was tremendous. Silky smooth and color was vibrant. That I noticed as soon as it was opened. Did not open up as much as I had hoped it would through the dinner. I think I should have decanted it for couple of hours. All in all, well worth the price. I would be game to try this again.
