Still pretty, damp forest floor, soy, earthy, and crunchy red fruits

Soy. Used coffee grounds. Wet earth. Black plum. Oak

The cork was hanging on for dear life and I did not expect this to be drinkable… Complex nose of wilted roses, decomposing leaves, sous bois. Black cherry pits and skin, resolved tannin, moderately long 😍

Unpleasantly oxidized on the nose, but drinkable on the palate.

Quite good. Served on Saroche barge by captain who bought it at Beaune auction

Very tasty wine. Too bad it was next to the 83 Rousseau Ruchottes.
