Hope family has been making Liberty School Cab since 1990. In 1996, Hopes established Treana Winery & put Liberty School as part of Hope Family Wines. I remember Liberty school in the β€˜80s, good value then and now. Aromas of lively berry fruits with oak and spice. On the palate cherry and blackberry, bit jammy, with toasty oak and pepper spice. Firm tannins, medium, ending with fruit and spice. Drink now! Good value!

My wife and I had this wine with flank steak while dining with our son and daughter in law at Lutsen Resort in northern Minnesota. A nice full bodied wine. A must have wine for our home.

2014 vintage. Very deep plum, nearly opaque. Dark red berries, oak, white pepper. Slightly sweeter than expected. 13.5% ABV.

My all-time favorite wine but unfortunately after 2010 and 2011 has changed. Still an incredibly good wine with a great nose, deep rich notes of black currant, dark cherries and a smooth velvety finish. At $15 to 19 it’s not cheap though

Tasty while drinking. Smooth finish and quite dry. A guaranteed headache from drinking even one glass.

Reasonable Cabernet. Nice color. From Paso Robles. Fruit drive. Smooth mouthful. Dark cherry prominent with a touch of spice. Good with grilled double pork shops. Gruene Door Restaurant. New Braunfels.
