It’s time for some Merlot on this
#MerlotThursday.

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Spicy nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, mediterranean spices, chocolates, smoke, light earth and herbs. Very interesting nose.

Full bodied with medium minus acidity.

Dry on the palate with black plums, cooked cherries, light oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, earth and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and raspberries.

This is a nice Merlot from Lodi California. Tangy and interesting. I really enjoyed the nose.

Good right out of the bottle and good for parties.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.
