Very soft red fruits on the nose with a little earthiness and mushrooms, medium body, not as fruit forward as you'd expect from a Cali Pinot and more structure from moderate tannins hitting the sides of the tongue and a bit of acid. Not bad, buy definitely not my favorite sort of Pinot. Confirmed this was a gift, not bought by us! 😉
