Really awesome! Perfect 95.
Lots of life. A little tannic and 90s ish but awesome with steak. Better than a lot of heavy hitter ‘95s’ honestly. Low alcohol and lovely. Would recommend

Balanced and smooth

Dark color and thick texture. Great dark fruit and white pepper with a very long finish.

Good structure, notes of black currant, blackberry, blueberry and a touch of green tobacco and vanilla

Quite elegant with spice box, red currant. Feels less Napa and more Sonoma. Very clean with a lengthy finish.

Here we are the first weekend of the new year 2018. I would like to wish everyone a healthy and prosperous new year. Tonight I have opened the 2008 Honig Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to start the beginning of a new beginning.

On the nose I am getting a very nice dark fruit thing happening. There is black cherry, blackberry, black currant, licorice, tar, leather, musk, a birt of toasty oak and dark rich earth.

On the palate the dark fruit continues with black cherry, blackberry, black currant, licorice, mint, sweet oak and an earthiness.

This wine is full bodied with a full round mouth feel. There is medium + acidity with medium + firm tannins that leads to a long finish with continued fruit throughout. Have a great start to the weekend and to the new year. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Beautiful wine, fully integrated aromas with vanilla extract, coconut, chocolate and fully ripe Fruit. Moderate acidity, luscious mouthfeel and lingering finish.
